Over a Century of Amateur Radio at the University of Toronto

UTARS is one of the oldest student organizations at the University of Toronto. We bring together students from across all disciplines who share a passion for wireless communication, RF engineering, and amateur radio.

Whether you’re a licensed operator or have never touched a radio in your life, UTARS is open to you. We run workshops, build projects, and get on the air together — all while helping members work toward their Amateur Radio Operator Certificate.
